The 2019 Cadillac XT4 will serve as an incredibly important new vehicle in North America, but the luxury brand has high hopes for the nameplate in the Middle East. The brand announced this month that the XT4 will make the jaunt to the Middle East and launch later this year.
The compact luxury crossover joins the mid-size Cadillac XT5 and full-size Escalade SUV in the Middle East and will serve as an entry-level point in the market. Cadillac’s Middle Eastern customers are often younger, and the brand hopes the XT4 capitalizes on the demographic.
“Cadillac’s first-ever compact SUV is designed to stand out to the young, upwardly mobile consumer. Naturally, it’s also filled with the kind of leading-edge connectivity features that tech-savvy buyers demand,” Christian Soemmer, Managing Director, Cadillac Middle East, said.
Cadillac did not provide specifics on available features for the Middle East, but the Y global trim strategy will also find its way to the region. Customers will choose either a Luxury or Sport trim and funnel down the options list.
