Later this year, Chevrolet will roll out the 2019 Camaro lineup with tweaked exterior styling and aerodynamic upgrades. However, we also know the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will also mirror some of the regular Camaro’s changes.
Both the 2019 Camaro and the ZL1 were spied testing alongside one another in new spy photos, though it’s hard to tell if the ZL1 wears the updated rear fascia we spied previously. Earlier spy photos appeared to show a relatively unchanged front fascia, while the rear adopted the 2019 Camaro SS’ new rear bumper and taillight treatment.
Chevrolet’s updated pony car does not include any changes to the powertrain, which means power still sits at 455 horsepower for SS models. We haven’t heard a peep regarding a power bump for the 2019 Camaro ZL1, so expect 650 hp to remain on tap. The ZL1 features a standard six-speed manual or optional 10-speed automatic transmission.
We expect to receive official information on the 2019 Camaro ZL1 later this year, likely closer to the 2019 Camaro lineup’s launch.

Hope they add Wireless CarPlay, finally…
Im 63 yrs old and been a chevy guy for 50 of those. Now that I retired, Ive been anxious to buy a new ZL1. Unfortunately thats not going to happen. I , like many other chevy fans are calling for the resignation or firing of the color engineer or whatever their title is? Who needs a degree to pick colors uglier than a dogs behind. What happened to burnt orange , limerock green , lemans blue or even a copper or bronze metallic? These are expensive muscle cars that we like to wash n wax . The colors we’ve had to choose from make me put my finger down my throat ! GM better start listening to the buyer’s and not the so called color expert that has absolutely no imagination. Sales on camaro are slipping and will continue. You wont get my money.
