There’s been a lot of hype surrounding the 1,000-horsepower, Demon-slaying Chevrolet “Exorcist” Camaro ZL1 built by Hennessey Performance Engineering – an industry leader in the world of tuning. If February’s video showing the Exorcist hit 217 miles per hour wasn’t enough to convince you the car is worthy of the hype, perhaps this one, which shows the car running a 9.57-second quarter-mile, will be.
On its way to completing a quarter-mile run in a staggering 9.57 seconds, the Exorcist Camaro hit 60 miles per hour in just 2.1 seconds, passing a hundred miles per hour in just 4.7 seconds. To put that in perspective, when new, the V10-powered BMW E60 M5 took more than twice as long – 4.7 seconds – to reach 60 miles per hour, and needed about 3 more seconds than the Exorcist to clear the quarter-mile.
We could go on and on comparing specs: power-to-weight ratios, trap speeds, and so on. Or, we could step aside and let you click play above to see the world-record-setting quarter-mile run. Enjoy.

Why keep comparing an after market car to factory? How about this. Line up a top fuel dragster vs. this Camaro and write about who beats who? It makes as much sense.
show the stats of all the ZL1 s year after year to show the increase in performance
I’m averaging 11mpg in my 2019 ZL1. What’s the MPG on the Exorcist ZL1? LOL
