2009 C6 Corvette Z06 Emerges From Storage Container With 720 Miles

It’s a modern-day barn find. An individual stumbled upon this never-registered, 720-mile 2009 C6 Corvette Z06 in a storage container. It’s truly a forgotten car covered in dust and dirt, but factory fresh underneath.

The individual has since posted the car to eBay calling the “lowest-mile Z06 in the country.” We can’t back those claims up, but it’s certainly possible.

Aside from new scratches and dings, the Corvette is in full working order, and the seller has changed fluids and given it a good wash. The original tires from 2009 remain, which will most definitely need replacing.

We’re more curious as to how the car got to its forgotten home. The C6 Corvette Z06 was the top dog for years before the C6 Corvette ZR1 came around. And we find it hard to believe an owner simply “forgot” about the car. If they did, we wish we had money to throw away like that.

The VIN doesn’t turn up as stolen, either, so this car is free and clear. However, it’s missing a title and the new owner will need to go through the process of obtaining one.

With less than a day to go for bidding, the 2009 Corvette Z06’s high bid is now $57,100.

  1. High odds the owner did not reside in the United States and was trying to ship it to another country (hence the shipping container) but for whatever reason that never happened…

  2. Who cares if it has never been registered. The Car needs both front fenders repainted and bumper replaced. Not worth $57,000 IMO.

    1. There’s a reason they’re doing a “quick sale” that’s “on the cheap” without a title and the ad even states if they get a title they would raise the price substantially (as a seller, why wouldn’t want at least ten thousand more dollars?)…Odds are this vehicle will never be registered in the United States…
