GMC Sierra Prerunner Catches Some Serious Air At Glamis Sand Dunes: Video

Few things have the same near-universal appeal and undeniable bad-assness as a prerunner-style truck. That much is evident if you only look at the comments on the Instragram video shown here, which depicts a GMC Sierra prerunner soaring through the air like a giant, gas-chugging bald eagle at Glamis Sand Dunes in California.

This Sierra is powered by an LS3 V8 that’s been stroked to 427-cubic inches and mated to a stout 4L85E automatic, according to the clip’s originator, ramseyackad, on Instagram. If we had to guess, it seems like Ramsey probably visits the dunes pretty frequently – and wouldn’t you, if you had a truck of that caliber?

All in all, we’d give this jump a 9 out of 10. It was long, high, and graceful, and nothing seems to have broken. Be sure to watch Ramsey’s awe-inspiring jump in his GMC Sierra prerunner above.
