Grumpy Cat Rings In 2018 Opel Crossland X Launch

Opel held quite the get-together at Kraftwerks in Berlin, Germany, for the public debut of the 2018 Crossland X. And it had a few friendly, and one not so friendly, face present.

Grumpy Cat, or Tardar Sauce, headlined the debut party with Georgia May Jagger. Both also starred in the 2017 Opel calendar. For the event, Opel made it a Grumpy Cat paradise. Scratching trees, cat food and cat flaps were all present to meet the demands of the grumpiest cat in all the land.

“We were more than happy to meet Grumpy‘s demands,” said CMO Tina Müller at the opening of the vernissage. “We are more than aware that whatever Grumpy touches turns out to be a success. The first edition of our new ‘Grumpy & Georgia’ calendar sold out within 48 hours of the presentation in November. Obviously, we moved heaven and kitty litter to have Grumpy as the star guest here in Berlin.”

Of course, other than Grumpy Cat, the true star of the show was the 2018 Opel Crossland X. The B-segment crossover was revealed as an urban adventurer to join the Mokka X, and soon to be followed by the Opel Grandland X. If you missed the debut party, Opel has recorded the fun for you right here.
