  1. Sales are starting to come around for the 2nd most important product that Cadillac makes.
Hopefully the momentum continues into 2017.

  2. An entry level with a 265 horsepower LTG 2.0L DOHC-4v 4-cyl turbo or possibly a XT5 borrowing the battery pack from Chevrolet’s Bolt to create an electric XT5 variant.

    1. I think they should go the other away as well. Do a V-Sport model to slot above the Platinum.
Cadillac already has the motor to use. The 3.0TT from the CT6 makes 404HP and 400lb.ft. of torque. Take that motor plus bigger wheels/tires, sportier suspension, better brakes and add some accompanying bling and there you have it.
Cadillac could get an extra $10000 for that model.

      1. i think cadillac doesn’t need any sport in crossovers with fwd bias. Better make XT3\4 smaller and more volume seller that makes more cash. It help to get enough money to build greater rwd sedans and coupes.

        1. Why leave money on the table as they say?
Obviously with that much power it would be on the AWD version only. Who would put 400HP and 400ft.lb through the front wheels anyway?

There is a growing market for performance crossovers like the Jaguar F-Pace, Porshe Macan,k Porshe Cayenne, Maserati Levante, et. al.

Cadillac has shown the ability to make very capable sport sedans. Why not apply some of that expertise to the growing crossover market?

  4. the XT5 looks too stubby to be a performance CUV…..the exterior design looks tired all ready and it looks like a vehicle for soccer moms.

  5. Update/redesign XT5 will get these escala exterior and interior design.

  6. it would need to look 100% like the concepts….slapping on the concepts front end, lights and keeping the same dated, slab-sided side view profile…… isn’t good enough.
