Buick Envision Deliveries Total 2,351 Units In October 2016

The Buick Envision premium compact crossover saw 2,351 deliveries in the United States in October 2016 — its sixth full month on the market. The results represent the Envision’s best monthly sales performance so far in 2016.

The figures compare to 1,648 U.S. deliveries in September and 1,531 U.S. deliveries in August. Since its launch in May, a total of 8,477 units of the crossover have been delivered in the United States.

The GM Authority Take

We believe that the increase in Envision deliveries during the month of October can be partially explained by the arrival of the 2017 model, which carries a lower starting price of $34,065 versus the $42,000 base price of the 2016 model. The lower starting price of the 2016 Envision is thanks to lower amounts of content/features, a less potent base engine, and the lack of a standard all-wheel-drive system, all of which worked in tandem to increase the price of the 2016 Envision.

  1. Very low volume product. Hopefully the sales will increase and they can move manufacturing here to the states.

    1. As with all SUVs, expect sales to grow. Envision considering segment can not be considered niche considering success of rivals.
Now that base price has dropped we will see the model grow to Encore-sized numbers. If not then Buick truly is damaged goods.

  2. it looks cheap and it looks 10+ years old all ready…the new 2018 Chevy Nox looks much bolder and better than this.
