The CLC Grand European, or American Cadillac LaSalle Club, is preparing for one of the largest showings of iconic Cadillacs in history. Over 100 cars vintage Cadillac vehicles have been registered to invade Seedamm Plaza in Pfäffikon, Switzerland.
The CLC Grand European invites friends of the club to prepare for the massive meeting of Cadillacs from August 26 to August 30. As host, the Cadillac Club of Switzerland is organizing a program which will take participants from Lake Zürich to Appenzell, the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, Einsiedeln and to Brunnen.
“CLC stands for the American Cadillac LaSalle Club, which was founded in 1958 in Detroit and which now unites over 7000 members worldwide. The origins of the CLC Grand European therefore also lie in the USA, where the CLC Grand National is the highlight of the year for Cadillac & LaSalle enthusiasts. The European Cadillac clubs adopted this tradition and are organizing a CLC Grand European every two years. We are of course proud that, as host, the Cadillac Club of Switzerland will this year be able to welcome around one hundred teams,” said Arion M. Scheifele, President of the Cadillac Club of Switzerland.
Vehicles range from some of Cadillac’s earliest vehicles, such as the 1938 Fleetwood 75 Series, to the latest designs from Cadillac. In fact, Cadillac Europe will be bringing one of its latest performance machines: the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V.
The event offers plenty of chances for locals to see some of Cadillac’s most stunning vehicles across the country of Europe, and should be quite the sight for enthusiasts to behold.

I attended the Grand European CLC event in the Netherlands two years ago; great event and met some wonderful Cadillac people there.
