What Do You Call A Swedish Corvette?

Here, we have the “Volvette.” Which is a 1992 Chevrolet Corvette with a 1967 Volvo P1800 body shaped around its frame, and yes, it looks as weird as it sounds.

At a first glance you may think “oh hey, look at that Volvo” but then the image of what you’re actually seeing registers in your brain and you’ll be left with a tilted head and a cocked eyebrow, wondering who on earth was so bold as to merge a Volvo P1800 with a Corvette.

Despite the uniqueness, the listing on eBay has received a highest offer of $20,200, around 10 grand less than the reserve. So while we may not like all that much, the 5.7L V8, fresh new paint, and bright chrome wheels should be enough to get someone to buy the Volvette. After all, we’ve seen much worse done to a Corvette.
