Irmscher Practices Its Chinese At Auto Shanghai 2015

Globalization. If there’s a definition for the term, this is it. Irmscher is a Spanish based tuning group and specializes in Opel vehicles. Naturally, this translates to Buick since the two share many vehicle models.

Irmscher displayed its latest 2015 Opel Insignia/2015 Buick Regal build at Auto Shanghai 2015 with extensive body remodeling.

The front features a revised bumper with integrated front splitter and large vents for an intimidating presence. Flowing above the splitter is a red graphic, which continues above the wheel arch to the rear of the car. Ground effects can be found on the entire vehicle, and a rear spoiler shows its “sporting ambitions” according to Irmscher. But this isn’t a boy-racer build by any means.

Every additional part, vent or addition to the body has been extensively tested in Irmscher’s wind tunnel to not only match the original car’s aerodynamics, but surpass it.

The tuning group also offers pumped up engine improvements, with their top engine producing 370 hp.

Do you dig the styling and performance upgrades? Or are the 2015 Buick Regal and Opel Insignia’s classic lines to be left alone?
