Installing A Nitrous Fogger On A 1967 Chevrolet Camaro: Video

To many frequenters of YouTube’s automotive section, Roadkill’s Crusher Camaro needs no introduction. The yellow first-gen has starred in several well-known Roadkill episodes, and recently received a nitrous fogger in one of Finnegan and Freiburger’s Hot Rod Garage episodes.

Roadkill predicts their Camaro, which has a mast 7.0-liter LS7 under its hood, predicts their Camaro could run about 10.20 or 10.30 in the quarter mile, which Freiburger says “isn’t good enough.” The solution he came up with, like any true hot rodder would, was to hookup nitrous system to the car in an effort to get into the low 9s.

After walking us through the relatively easy installation process and switching the car’s automatic transmission fluid, Freiburger takes the Crusher Camaro to the drag strip for some passes. He doesn’t get the 9-second time he was looking for, mostly due to the new 3.73 gears in the car, but it still managed a trap speed of 145 mph.
