This past Thursday, while Americans were eating turkey and stuffing, Cadillac planned something else to our friends across the Atlantic − specifically, Cadillac Europe kicked off the Cadillac Experience in Berlin with a glamorous grand opening night. Through Monday, the Cadillac Experience will take place at the “Unter den Linden/Staatsoper” car park, an almost-22,000 square-foot space that combines a showroom, product experience, an exhibition, and a stylish modern American diner.
Build to give visitors the opportunity to experience Cadillac and the new ATS Coupe, the kickoff event featured German celebrity guests (Oliver Korittke, Cathy Fischer, Natalia Avelon, and Jana Pallaske, among others) walking down the red carpet.
“Exclusive, distinctive, unique – Cadillac is one of the world’s leading premium car brands,” says the President and Managing Director of Cadillac and Chevrolet Europe, Thomas Sedran. “With the ‘Cadillac Experience’ and its slogan, ‘Challenging convention,’ we’ll be demonstrating that with our innovative technology and characteristic design Cadillac, and the new ATS Coupe in particular, is an attractive alternative to our established premium competitors.”
The highlight of Thursday evening was the performance by renowned American soul singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc, best known for his hits I Need a Dollar and Wake Me Up. The event concluded with a party featuring New York-based DJ Nick Cohen. Those with empty stomachs could become satiated thanks to celebrity chef Richard Blais, who gave guests his signature Juicy Lucy burger especially for the Cadillac Experience.
If you find yourself in Berlin through Monday, December 1, you can visit the Cadillac Experience from from 10 am to 6 pm at Bebelplatz (Behrenstr. 37), 10117 Berlin.

Cadillac trying to get into the European market can be summed up with one word:
PATHETIC!
2004 car design has no place in Europe.
If Europeans want a sub-standard car that rusts to the core the day the warranty expires, they can always buy an opel.
