W Magazine and Cadillac are uniting to share the story behind the industry insiders of Hollywood. The collaboration kicked off Thursday with a Best Performance Party hosted by W Magazine’s editor Stefano Tonchi and New York Times writer Lynn Hirschberg. The party included A list celebrities including new imminent film director Rawson Marshall Thurber and Rick Cosnett, star of The Vampire Diaries. Both celebrities had the opportunity to experience the rakish 2014 Cadillac ELR electric coupe at Thursday’s event.
According to director of branding and reputation strategy at Global Cadillac Melody Lee, Cadillac’s collusion with W is an honorary chance to introduce some new and vibrant talent in Hollywood. The trendsetting neighborhood has neglected the American luxury brand overall in favor of a more European flare in recent years, so it will interesting if today’s Cadillac — new crest and all — can break through that established loyalty.
