D3 Cadillac has been doing a great job at making a name for themselves in the Cadillac tuning world. With their success in tuning the big, bad V8 stuff, it’s natural that they would work their way down to something with a couple less cylinders – The ATS 3.6.
The BMW 3-series has long been considered the premiere compact sports sedan (Thanks, Bob Lutz). Since its inception, many competitors have tried to dethrone it, and the stakes have gotten higher with time. The 335i is one of the quicker variants of the 3-series, and is well-suited to go up against the Cadillac.
Both cars in the video below are modified, with the BMW’s list being a bit more extensive. Although we do like extensive modifications on cars, there’s something to be said for D3’s approach, which isn’t much more than, well, watch the video, because we don’t want to ruin it for you, and tell us if you can agree with Motor Trend’s analysis.

Blaaaah… Whos Motor Trend…
It just seems like Motor Trend will always love the 3 series no matter if BMW decided to be softer or whatever

and Mike Febbo preferred BMW. Big surprise…
How does a “tuned” 3.6 V6 ATS only have 260 HP? It comes with 321 out of the box?
GM should come out with a new 3.8L or 3.9L High Feature V6 with around 335-350HP and 305 TQ
