For those of you hoping to shop for a 575 horsepower ute from the factory, sorry to get your hopes up, because the only model in the Holden Special Vehicles Generation-F lineup to offer that much power is the new, Holden VF Commodore-based HSV Gen-F GTS.

With the new HSV GTS reigning supreme over all other HSV models, and all other production Australian cars for that matter, its output is crazy enough to desensitize us from the performance of the naturally-breathing LS3 V8. But make no mistake, this family of performance vehicles is still like nothing we see here in the ‘States.

The LS3 is still an awesome engine and I’m glad they only put the LSA in the GTS, because all of the other models would be incredibly expensive like the GTS.
This would be the only time I could say I’m happy living in Australia. Normally, I’d be pissed off that we don’t get the Camaro, of which the majority of engineering was done here, or the corvette. Just the opportunity to buy something as special as the Gen-F GTS is awesome. But gee wiz you folk living in America are lucky. Compare prices for the same cars and you will be shocked to know that your Aussie cousins are getting ripped off royally by the auto manufacturers. Until I get to buy my new GTS, I’ll make do with my HSV Clubsport.
they should have made the Chevy SS look like the GTS the Chevy SS looks like a watered down base model compared to the GTS
