1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Stolen From Quentin Tarantino Finally Recovered After 19 Years

If your car was stolen 19 years ago, chances are that it is in a million pieces by now, with its parts sold on the black market and scattered all over the world. Luckily for our favorite Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino (Django Unchained, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Inglorious Bastards, the list goes on…) his 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu that was driven by John Travolta’s character Vince Vega in Pulp Fiction didn’t meet that ill fate when it was stolen in 1994 from the movie set.

According to SBSUN.com, the Victorville (California) Sheriff’s department spotted two men who were stripping the Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, motivating the sheriff to run the VIN. As it turns out, the car is the very same one that went missing all these years ago. Authorities believe that the man in possession of Tarantino’s stolen Malibu is not believed to be involved in the theft and is a victim of a fraud.
