The big news this week, heck, the past few months, was the unveiling of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks. Most of you love them, as the trucks promise to raise the bar in performance and efficiency found in the full-sized truck segment. But not if Ford has anything to say about it.
According to a report found on the Automobile Magazine website, The Blue Oval has something special in store for the 2013 North American International Auto Show — less than 30 days from now — with a concept version of the next-generation F-150, the main rival to the beloved Chevrolet and GMC pickup trucks. Will it steal the proverbial thunder from General Motors? It’s still too early to tell, but it’s always compelling to be on the sidelines of what has to be one of the best automotive rivalries in the world. It will be fun to see how things play out.

I really don’t know why Ford is just making childish decisions nowadays of just playing catch-up where their F150 is already selling fine the way it is or are they that scared that the silver/sier is gonna eat their lunch?
No fair! Wait your turn, Ford!
I think it will , and that’s unfortunate, but since its a concept it can be flashier and look better than any production model, if its done right. However, people tend not to take concepts to seriously.
I think ford can’t stand to have chevy on top or close to top, they will defineitly try to steal there thunder, thats what they do, but from what i read (i think) gm has a very good truck now, plus ford is bringing a concept truck, and concepts don’t fly that good.
Some concepts are near production ready.
As for the ford vs gm nonsense, this whole story is nothing. A reheated GMT900 and an F-150 concept are nothing worth agonizing over by anyone.
PLAIN AND SIMPLE WHY CAN’T ANY PICKUP BE 5 STAR CRASH, RATED AS WELL AS 5 STAR FOR OVER TURNING,AND FOR OVERALL SAFETY OF PASSENGERS ???
