For those of you GM enthusiasts out there that also double as boat enthusiasts, you may have already heard of Seven Marine and their application of GM’s LSA V8 engine — the same engine that resides in the Cadillac CTS-V — into an outboard motor. Dubbed the 557, the outboard motor is the most powerful in the world to-date, and can be fit onto boats as small as 25 feet or as long as 55 feet. In addition to all that power, Seven claims that users will see a 10 to 20 percent increase in fuel efficiency compared to standard outboard motors.Â

Awesome blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely confused .. Any recommendations? Appreciate it!

WordPress is a great CMS and a great starting point. From there you can write the code and format the system yourself, or pay somebody to do it. Then you’re gonna have to secure a domain name, which could be in the thousands of dollars if somebody already thought of the name you want, because you would have to buy it off of them. But if the domain you want is available, it’s in the $10-20 range (usually around $10 on GoDaddy).
