Space Humans Bow To Impending Robot Masters As Robnoaut 2 Boards International Space Station

While the Russians were the first in space, androids will certainly be the last, as evidenced by the arrival of General Motors’ Robonaut 2 (a.k.a. Project Overlord) and subsequent takeover of the International Space Station earlier this month.

Armed with only his cyber-brain, and man-crushing forceps that work just like human hands, the R2 unit was unpacked on the ISS after six months of containment in a specially designed prison crate, perhaps made of Carbonite. Upon springing from his cell, R2, furious that his legs were housed separately, overtook a special engineering task board on the ISS, where he presumably re-wrote all of the stations systems in his own, terrifying robot language. Creepy.

Numerous pictures of R2 with his human hostages show them expressing joy, likely due to his threats of violent demise should they stand in the way of his global domination scheme.

Okay, so maybe R2 won’t overtake the ISS… but we feel it’s possible. Right?
