2025 Cadillac CT4 Gets New Deep Space Metallic Color: First Look

Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic are two new paint colors added to the 2025 Cadillac CT4 lineup as indirect replacements for the single outgoing paint, Midnight Steel Metallic (color code GXU). These changes to the palette are among a handful of updates debuted by the sixth model year of the first-generation sedan.

Deep Space Metallic is tagged with color code GAI and touch-up paint number WA-223K, and is one of nine colors available for the non-V-Series 2025 Cadillac CT4. The paint appears as a dark gray in the shade while dark steel blue tones appear in sunlight, with gold metallic flake included in the paint. You can check out the full list of CT4 exterior paints below (with color codes in parenthesis):

  • Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
  • Black Raven (GBA)
  • Crystal White Tricoat (G1W)
  • Midnight Sky Metallic (GXF)
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)

  • Deep Space Metallic (GAI – new for 2025)
  • Typhoon Metallic (GBW – new for 2025)

All three 2025 Cadillac CT4 trim levels – consisting of the Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trims – can be optioned with the Deep Space Metallic color. It is offered as a $625 additional-charge paint choice for all three trims.

Any of the available interior colorways for the 2025 luxury sedan can be combined with Deep Space Metallic. As a reminder, the 2025 Cadillac CT4 has the interior colorways listed below on offer:

  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents
  • Whisper Beige with Jet Black accents
  • Cinnamon with Jet Black accents
  • Sangria with Jet Black accents

Pricing, as first uncovered in May 2024 by GM Authority, starts at $36,390 base MSRP for the Premium trim configured with rear-wheel drive. Choosing the all-wheel drive setup nudges starting price up to $38,390 for the trim. At the top end, the Sport costs $42,490 when outfitted with RWD and $44,490 for the AWD variant.

Destination freight charge set at $1,395 is already figured into these starting prices. Of course, as a luxury sedan, the CT4 offers an extensive range of options and packages that can be added to meet the tastes and expectations of different customers. Power is supplied by two available engines for the 2025 CT4, with standard fare provide to all trim levels by the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.

The turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine developing 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque can be picked as an option in place of the basic LSY powerplant. The extra cost for this propulsion choice is set at $2,500.

The GM Alpha 2 platform provides the underpinnings for the 2025 CT4 as it does for all of the first generation sedans. The vehicle rolls off the assembly line at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan, with production kicking off in June of 2024.
