Cumulative U.S. sales of GM’s Buick brand increased 28 percent to 26,834 units in March 2018, setting a new March sales record and beating out the previous one, which was set in March 2004.
Retail sales increased 22.2 percent or 4,281 units to 23,538 vehicles, representing 87.7 percent of total Buick sales in March 2018. That compares to 19,257 retail sales in March 2017, which represented 91.9 percent of total Buick sales.
Fleet sales increased 93.9 percent or 1,596 units to 3,296 vehicles, representing 12.3 percent of total Buick sales in March 2018. That compares to 1,700 fleet sales in March 2017, which represented 8.1 percent of total Buick sales.

- Buick Encore sales increased 82.3 percent to 15,118 units, representing its best monthly sales performance ever
- Buick Envision sales increased 21.85 percent to 4,367 units, representing its best March sales performance ever
- Buick Enclave sales increased 6.34 percent to 4,011 units
- Buick Cascada sales decreased 16.27 percent to 417 units
- Buick LaCrosse sales decreased 11.12 percent to 2,071 units
- Buick Regal sales decreased 38.38 percent to 822 units
- Buick Verano sales decreased 97.56 percent to 28 units; the vehicle has been discontinued and has not been replaced in the U.S. market
In the first three months of 2018, Buick U.S. sales increased 13 percent to 56,804 units.

The Cascada was supposed to be the halo car. It’s the Encore. And as I’ve said a thousand times —
— make an electric one and have a license to print money.
Add the new electric Enspire for the 2018 sales figure.
Why the huge increases for Lacrosse and Regal? Must have been some good incentives on them last month.
