Buick U.S. Sales Down 30.5 Percent To 15,966 Units In July 2017

Cumulative U.S. sales of GM’s Buick brand decreased 30.5 percent to 15,966 units in July 2017.

Retail sales decreased 23.4 percent or 4,817 units to 15,811 units, representing 99 percent of total Buick sales for July 2017. That compares to 20,628 retail sales in July 2016, which represented 89.8 percent of total Buick sales.

Fleet sales decreased 93.4 percent or 2,177 units to only 155 units, representing 1 percent of total Buick sales for July 2017. That compares to 2,332 fleet sales in July 2016, which represented 10.2 percent of total Buick sales.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

Buick’s SUV mix was highest-ever in July with 85 percent.

Buick’s retail sales in the first seven months of 2017 were up 1.9 percent to 116,290 units, the highest since 2005. What’s more, Buick Average Transaction Prices (ATPs) were best highest since December 2015.

  2. The results that got Buick’s head of mktng redeployed to Dubai, overseeing the Middle East and Africa.

    Troubling that Buick, with three SUVs/CUVs is all red, save one (Envision).

    Seems the Cascada, the ‘statement vehicle’, wasn’t worthy of one Super Bowl commercial, let alone two.

    And the ‘that’s not a Buick’ has apparently run it’s course.

    All-new Enclave is struggling – but …
    Maybe things will pick up in the fall.

  3. Buick is irrelevant in the U.S. Over half of those pitiful sales numbers are made in China or Korea, oh yeah, let’s not forget Poland. Pity the poor dealers that have to sell this out of touch lineup.
