GMC U.S. Sales Decrease 5.2 Percent To 41,126 Units In May 2017

Cumulative U.S. sales of GM’s GMC brand decreased 5.2 percent to 41,126 units in May 2017.

Retail sales decreased 6.9 percent or 2,579 units to 34,869 units, representing 84.8 percent of total GMC sales for May 2017. That compares to 37,448 retail sales in May 2016, which represented 86.3 percent of total GMC sales.

Fleet sales increased 5.2 percent or 310 units to 6,257 units, representing 15.2 percent of total GMC sales for May 2017. That compares to 5,947 fleet sales in May 2016, which represented 13.7 percent of total GMC sales.

  1. they need to stop the select model program. It makes the customer go on a wild goose chase to maybe get the deal they want. its rediculous.

  2. I think GMC sent their ad/mktng director to Saudi Arabia (?). So she’s gone – they also changed/shifted ad agencies, and the former VP of Marketing for Buick and GMC has been reassigned. GMC marketing staff has been a non-truck-guy/woman revolving door for 10 years. No visionary leadership for a profitable marque.
