The Corvette Homecoming and Chevrolet Invitational are heading to a new home for the 36th annual event. This year, the happenings will take place at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The event includes a massive gathering of the finest Chevrolets and Corvettes for judged competitions, seminars and even a parade to mark the occasion. And the event will have a very special guest, too.
Ken Lingenfelter, owner of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, will serve as Grand Marshal for the festivities, which takes place between June 1-3.
The event began in 1981 after two Corvette enthusiasts wanted to follow the Corvette’s legacy as production moved from St. Louis, Missouri, to Bowling Green, Kentucky. In 2015, the Chevrolet Invitational was added to encompass all bowtie brand brothers and sisters.
