Dates Have Been Set For The 2017 Katech Track Attack Annual Event

The dates have been set for the 2017 Katech Track Attack annual event at Michigan’s M1 Concourse; the two-day event will begin on July 22nd at 8:00 A.M. and conclude on July 23rd at 5:00 P.M.

If you’re not familiar with the M1 Concourse, it’s essentially a utopia for car enthusiasts, with a road course, 7,000-square-foot clubhouse, and 338 garages (or “car condos”) all in one place. It replaced the old GM plant in Pontiac, Michigan.

And if, somehow, you haven’t heard of Katech, they’re the guys who built a record-setting 700 horsepower, normally aspirated 6.2L LT1 V8 (which has since been bested by Danzio Performance).

So far, the official Facebook event page for the annual Katech Track Attack only reports 13 confirmed attendees, and just 87 other interested parties, although it is still 5 months away. We wonder if we’ll end up seeing any of our readers there, should we make it to the event. Perhaps yours truly will bring the torquey Saab.

After all, I’ve got another 5 months to sort it out.

A car-loving millennial. We Are!
