The Opel Astra LED Matrix Lighting Lets You Keep The High Beams On: Ad Break

In this short, light Opel Astra K commercial featuring Jurgen Klopp, we see just how cool and convenient the IntelliLux LED Matrix lighting technology really is.

A short version of the already short plot would go something like this; the passenger of the 2016 Opel Astra asks the driver about the award-winning IntelliLux headlights. The passenger then asks Jurgen Klopp what makes them so special, to which he replies, “Stadium bright. But no one is blinded.” Meaning no fellow drivers will be upset. Well, except for the luxury class.

You gotta admit, these Astra headlights are actually pretty cool.

  1. Lighting has always been an issue in the States. Inevitably we have been behind the curve. Any vehicle in the United States that is doing 75-80 ( I live in Nevada) is driving outside the down road range of the light pattern at low beam . Of course high beams in traffic moving at 75 is not an option; and yes the traffic out here does do 75-80+with reasonable traffic volume loads. High beams when the traffic opens up is only marginally better.
Sylvania 9006 SilverStar Bulbs REALLY upped the lighting on my 2007 Jeep GC Diesel…highly recommend them.
On my CTS-V wagon I have wired in an LED light bar that is tied to the high beam circuit. However, I could still do with more low beam depth and spread.
