The storm that is the sixth-generation Camaro has come, but it certainly has not passed just yet. We’re expecting a major presence of aftermarket 2016 Chevrolet Camaro parts to arrive in full force with the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas but, today, we’ve gotten our first peak at some factory accessories for the 2016 Camaro.
Courtesy of this CamaroNews post, photos from the Camaro Fest event have made their way to the internet showcasing an abundance of accessory options Chevrolet hopes to bring to market for its latest sports car.
Starting with the more major elements, we see striping and ground effect kit designs sketches. Tasteful lips along the front fascia and side skirts amplify the design, and classic Camaro striping only tickles our fancy further. We even see Chevrolet has plans to introduce a “darkened tail lamp” package for the 2016 Camaro, providing a factory-smoked look to the taillights.
For accessories, there are plenty. Engine covers, illuminated Chevrolet bowties and doorsills, badging, car covers, floormats and much more has been captured in the photos.
The coolest, yet subtle, accessory we spotted? Factory 2016 Camaro wheels complete with a slim-red pinstripe along the outer edge, harkening back to the days of red pinstriped tires, no doubt.
Have a look at the photos yourself and let us know how you’re feeling about the accessory options down below in the comments.

This is SUPER COOLLLLLL!!!! It is hard to believe that Chevrolet is going to offer darkened tail lamp, that is awesome!!!! That will open a whole lot appetite for the Camaro enthusiast like me. I will personally purchase the darkened tail lamp and so other cool things that I have seen in those pictures. A slim-red pinstripe along the outer edge of the wheels!!! Are you kidding me, that is personality!!! Looking forward to have my 2016 baby!!
All that is simply awesome. I can not believe it!!! GREAT IDEAS!!!
Thanks for sharing these cool pictures!!!

“Alluminum” Sill Plates. Spell Check!
So, is the tri-bar logo gonna be on it anywhere else besides on an engine cover? Personally I’d rather see it reserved for the Z28 and put on the front fender behind the wheel.
The Tri bar logo is on the sides replacing the lettering on the fifth gem Camaro, so yes. I also wouldn’t be surprised if it was on the steering wheel.
Ahh, okay. I think the tri-bar would look nice on the steering wheel.
Yes I would expect the bar on everything as it is a Camaro emblem not an SS or Z/28. Now they may use their own emblems since they do have them.
these mods are pretty nice, however they need to offer performance modifications along with the cosmetic stuff. Exhaust systems, actual cold air intakes and other performance upgrades to make the car go faster. This is a muscle car, not a show car. there needs to be some serious factory-warranty friendly upgrades such as intakes, heads, cams, intake manifolds, headers, exhaust systems, gears, shifters, twin disc clutch upgrades, suspension and axle upgrades. There needs to be modifications that really enhance performance, not just the looks.
where or when can i get the chevrolet performance decal?
