2015 Camaro Z/28 Continues To Take Names On The Track: Video

If there’s a testament to what the Camaro team is capable of, it’s the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. The 2015 Z/28 has become the pinnacle of Camaro engineering, and has left nearly anyone in its path wowed by its abilities.

The latest venture has German publication Sport Auto behind the wheel of the 2015 Camaro Z/28 at Hockenheim, where it laid down a time of 1:10.8. That’s scary quick, and matched an Audi R8 V10, while surpassing a recently tested BMW M3 at 1:13.1.

And lucky for us, the publication has caught all the action on video, as the 2015 Z/28 struts its stuff on the track. No doubt, those über sticky 305-section Pirelli Trofeo Rs at each corner help quite a bit.

Now, with the heft curbed by General Motors’ alpha platform, we can’t imagine how capable the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro could be in a new Z/28-guise. Check out the video for yourself right down below.
