While the National Corvette Museum itself continues to rebuild after the Corvette-swallowing sinkhole incident, things are happening at the NCM Motorsports Park too.
Construction of the open-air Kimberlee A. Fast pavilion continues after frigid temperatures and heavy rains delayed the project. Despite Mother Nature’s setbacks, the NCM says the pavilion will still open this summer, with an estimated date in June. The pavilion will offer outside picnic seating, and new restroom facilities for visitors.
Along with the pavilion, day garages will be constructed as well, which may be rented on either side of the pavilion. The garages will include viewing decks for an even greater view of the track.
The NCM has also announced a new fuel station has broke ground at the Motorsports Park, which will allow drivers to fuel up right at the track. The Mobil-1 gas station will offer high-octane gas with the ability for credit card purchase, a major convenience factor.
Stay tuned on further updates to the latest addition to the Motorsports Park.
