Tug of war dates back thousands of years as man’s first attempt to see who was stronger. Today, it has evolved across the automotive community to accomplish the same task. This time, we bring you a muddy version of the timeless competition.
Here we have a 1941 Chevrolet bodied truck, jacked up on some massive trophy-truck style tires, and a standard-issue John Deere tractor. Now, we don’t know too much about tractors, but we know they’re not slouches. They have things to harvest, work to be done, and crops to pull.
We don’t have specifications on the 1941 Chevrolet truck either, but it sure sounds mean as it readies for battle against another staple in the American workforce. As the folks at Bangshift mention, these types of trucks are immensely growing in popularity. Akin to a trophy-truck build, but deemed “mega trucks.” Like an old, rougher uncle to today’s trophy truck.
As the two prepare for launch, the 1941 Chevrolet truck begins to pull the massive John Deere, but the John Deere fights back, digging into its home turf in the dirt. We won’t spoil the outcome for you.
