General Motors’ trio of Lambda-plaftormed full-size crossovers — the Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Buick Enclave — will gain the acclaimed GM-OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi technology for the 2016 model year, GM Authority has learned.
According to GM’s 2016 model year vehicle order guides, each Lambda-based CUV will have OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi as standard equipment, while also featuring various other updates and changes (which you can see below).
Out of all the models which General Motors has equipped with OnStar’s 4G LTE and Wi-Fi, the Lambdas are perhaps the most in need of the technology, as they seem to be a perfect fit for it: they are family vehicles capable of hauling a significant amount of occupants, and are great for long road trips and short commutes alike. But for whatever reason, the crossovers were among the few GM vehicles that did not receive the OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi for the 2015 model year.
The trio of Lambda-based crossovers will also feature a host of other updates and changes for the 2016 model year, as per below:
