To create the 2015 Opel-Vauxhall Corsa E, GM’s European arm took the last-generation Corsa (the Corsa D) and gave it a thorough reworking. In doing so, the GM subsidiary equipped the subcompact model with some impressive (optional) features to make colder climates more tolerable. These features include a heated steering wheel, heated seats, a heated windshield (windscreen), and heated side mirrors. Who knows, maybe all those features will help Corsa buyers turn up the heat with their significant other (pun fully intended)? Opel’s video below draws the romantic analogy in a somewhat cheesy way:

These are some of the little things Chevy should offer standard to help set them apart too. in the coming Malibu and Cruze.

There are a lot of brand new optional features in the Corsa E. But not all of those “heated” ones are new. The heated seats, steering wheel and mirrors were available in Corsa D. I know it because I’ve been driving one with all that options since 2007. Only the heated windscreen option is new.
