2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Won’t Be Featured On Next Season Of Top Gear

Of all the videos and camera footage that has surfaced on the internet of the new Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, the short teaser from Top Gear Magazine is one of the best. The production value is stalwart enough to where we believe it could be a recording for the next season of the actual car show, and not just the magazine. Or so we thought, as GM Authority has come to learn that the 2014 Camaro Z/28 did not reach the British car show in time for filming of the upcoming season.

Alas, our fingers remain crossed that Jeremy Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond and The Stig will someday soon be seen barreling around the Top Gear Test Track in the most track-capable Camaro ever built, probably against something like the Nissan GTR.

    1. Unless it is a small Ford, they can’t get enough of them.

  3. They are not afraid. Top Gear is fair as they bash everyone but do praise the good in many cars. They have gushed over the C6 and will only do better on the C7.

Also they were fair on the Mustang as it was a fun car but lacks the refinement that most Euro cars have. We have to keep in mind they are no Americans and they have different expectations.

They will love the performance of this car but will call out the things that limit it on the road as it will have more noise and the tires have to be hot or you will get in trouble. Those are the main things we see and they are fair as it is a track car. The same has been said on the F 40 Ferrari.

When you get a focused car there will be short comings in some areas.

The key will be how it performance at the track and that is what the focus is here. This is more race car than street car.
