900hp Crate Motor Now Available From Lingenfelter Performance

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering needs no introduction to fans of late-model tuner performance, but you knew they also offer crate motors for your vehicle, right? Their latest and greatest is a 900-horse LSA.

“Our 900 horsepower crate engine will fit in any vehicle, from street rods to ZR1 Corvettes and everything in-between. Owners of luxury performance cars are always looking for more power and now we offer this in our expanded crate engine line,” said vice president and general manager at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, Mike Copeland.

The new 378cid crate motor is fitted with a forged crankshaft (an all-new GT22 camshaft created specifically for this motor), pistons, and rods “for maximum performance and durability.” Sitting on either side are GM LS9 heads with Lingenfelter’s proprietary CNC porting for improved airflow and, hence, torque and horsepower.

“We have never before offered a crate engine combination with this much horsepower,” continues Copeland. “For this engine, we’ve used a 3.6L Kenne Bell Supercharger, which delivers much more horsepower potential for an engine that’s been engineered to reliably stand up to these power levels.”

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering’s new 900-horse crate engine comes with its own engine dyno documentation and an LPE brand certificate of authenticity. Pricing and complete engine details will be announced at a later date so be sure to check www.lingenfelter.com often.
