Following the official introduction of the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 in Argentina in November, General Motors has confirmed that Chevrolet‘s flagship pickup is now on sale in the country.
The automaker’s Argentine subsidiary confirmed the official sales start of the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 in the South American nation, where the initial pre-sale period has just ended and the first units of the model began to be delivered to customers since Monday, December 2nd. As such, GM Argentina is finally launching the 2025 Silverado on schedule and confirming the long-awaited arrival of the model to the Argentine market.
“The New Chevrolet Silverado arrives with a range of two versions: the sportier and off-road Z71 Trail Boss and the range-topping High Country, which is the most luxurious and has many details aimed at comfort and enjoying the driving experience,” said GM Argentina. “It is one of the pickups with the largest bed in its category, offers greater towing capacity and is the first model of the brand in Argentina equipped with the Google built-in system,” the company added.
Positioned as a premium model aimed at consumers seeking the ultimate truck from a design and feature standpoint, the 2025 Chevy Silverado sits at the top of Chevy’s portfolio in Argentina to elevate the brand’s image and strengthen its presence in the highly competitive local pickup segment. In addition to the 2025 Silverado High Country recently introduced in Brazil, the nation debuts a Z71 Trail Boss variant as well.
Mechanically, both 2025 Chevy Silverado variants for the Argentine market are equipped as standard with the 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine develops 360 metric horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, coupled to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission. 4WD is also standard on both trim levels along with three drive mode settings.
The 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 is available for sale throughout the brand’s dealer network in Argentina, with units imported from the GM Silao plant in Mexico. Standard equipment includes a 13.4-inch infotainment system touchscreen, a 12-inch digital driver instrument cluster, OnStar services and a complete suite of advanced driving assistance systems.
