The popular Opel Adam is reportedly getting a convertible version soon, according to German car website Auto Motor und Sport. It’s fun to say “und.” Anyway, the upcoming Adam Cabrio won’t receive any powertrain changes, but is expected to have a retractable soft-top roof similar to the Adam Rocks Concept (pictured above), as well as the Fiat 500C and Citroen DS3 Cabrio.
However, the plans are still in the early stages, and the Adam Cabrio program is reportedly set for approval by Opel — meaning that prototypes aren’t built yet. But considering the simplicity of the program, it shouldn’t be long before Europe enjoys a topless Adam.

This is the kind of car GM USA needs… a fun small car.
They ought to bring the Adam drop top over here.
Wonder if like Insignia Country Tourer it will be launched at the motorshow
Try to keep the models reasonable, don’t get silly like Mini & 500 ranges have by introducing meaningless models for the sake of it.
