I had my new 2024 Sierra 6.2L Denali Ultimate for 48 hours before I had to take the truck in due to an engine misfire. There was a stuttering feeling as I slightly accelerated between 30-60MPH. Three weeks in the shops and one bank of lifters replaced…still no solution. Dealer can’t figure out what is wrong and GM Engineering seems to need “data”. Heard there were multiple trucks in for the same reason.

      Anyone experiencing this?

      Yep .
My 2023 Silverado ZR2 is doing the same thing.
GM is the worst company to do business with!
Now they got your money they could care less about a resolve . On top of that the dealer I purchased from couldn’t fix a wheelbarrow!
This is the second truck in less than a year with major issues! Looks like GM needs a major lawsuit!

SGarcia – you getting any feedback on what the issue is?

I believe it has something to do with programing of cylinder deactivation and fuel management system. GM should deactivate it completely!
      It’s harmful to the engine!

My 2024 AT4 6.2L has been doing this from the day I drove it off the lot. I am at 16,000miles. I will report this issue as a ‘bucking’ upon light acceleration and most noticeable at lower RPMs. GM has replaced the engine at 10,000miles, problem remained, replaced the torque converter, problem remained. I’ve had the service manager take drives with me with laptop plugged in to monitor things. I have turned off all frontal anti collision features and I have gone to the extreme of tapping off my windshield & grill cameras to determine if the anti collision system is to blame, problem remains. It’s going back to the shop for a bad injector when picked up on my last scan.
I will say my dealer has served me well, they are trying to resolve it. It’s an annoying problem because it’s not always there but has increasingly more frequent. Can anyone shed some light on this issue ?

I’m new here. Yep. Engine failure at 1,000 miles. Sierra Denali 1500 gas 5.3. Metal in oil. They are (in touch) with engineers. No diagnosis yet. Been in dealer for a week. New engine is a very long wait they say. More to come. If I can qualify for the California lemon law (vehicle in shop for 30 days or more) I’ll get out of this GM product and run the other way.
