2023 Canyon Denali VIN update

My dealer has had my window sticker for over two months. We still can’t find out when the Denali will arrive. This truck was built on February 3rd. If it wasn’t my best friend who owns the dealer I would be driving a Bronco.

I received a VIN for my Denali from my dealer last week although I haven’t been told a code or a delivery date.

I was notified my Canyon was built on january 26 and I received the vin shortly thereafter. Still have not received it yet. I found out it’s on the hail damage list. I have no idea when I’ll get it. Very frustrating!!

Finally another guy with an early build date. I am convinced that General Motors works their inventory on a first in last out method.

Yep, have no idea how they run their shipping. This is the first time I ever ordered a new vehicle and probably last. Ordered in December because I figured it would be in early so I wouldn’t have a problem with my lease. Which expires in July. Wh knows if my truck will be in.

Does anyone know the REAL ANSWER for the delay, holdup, in shipping either the Canyon or Colorado trucks??

I got my 4300 status on May 24th my 2023 Canyon AT4 was here on 6/6 I love this thing.

Just a quick update. My dealer advised me they received a status change on my GMC Canyon Denali. It’s been greenlighted and on a rail car for delivery. Estimated delivery date is June 26, 2023. That’ll be 5 months from when I received the email that my truck was built. Still keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

Just received an email yesterday from GMC that my Canyon is now enroute to my dealer. Guess we’ll see if there is any permanent damage from the hail. The crazy thing is they ordered a second truck for me last week and then on the same day received notice it was shipped. It’s the first time I have ever ordered a new vehicle and it may be my last!!

Well my Canyon Denali has arrived. Dealer sent me a text with a photo. Truck arrived this morning and the shop gave it a clean bill of health, no hail damage. I’ll pick it up next Wednesday when I get home from vacation.

Picked up my 2023 Canyon Denali yesterday. It was on the damaged list, but you would never know. So far so good. The Volcanic Red looks awesome!!
