Has anyone received the chip for the heated/cooled front and rear seats for the 2022 Acadia SLT? Does anyone have information as to when these chips will be available and how they will be distributed to owners?
No, GM. Dealer info says they plan to handle as a recall in that they will send you a letter. It could be a few months or a few years, no one knows.
I have had continual contact with GM and now just refer to my case number, my interest is in front and rear parking assist they omitted on my Sierra SLT. I was aware the seats and wheel would be on a retro fit but the park assist was an unpleasant surprise. GM will commit to nothing on any retrofit yet they use the chips in the most expensive models and from what I understand export is a complete vehicle. Last month I was advised retrofit would begin toward the end of the second quarter, I informed them in two days July 1 the third quarter started…..no response, also informed them to meet commitments at home before opening a Middle East market using chips that should go to customers who have already waited a year (mine is 6months).
