The Towing Capabilities Of The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado: Video

Six in 10 full-size pickup owners use their trucks for trailering, according to General Motors’ survey data. As a result, engineers put a particular emphasis on towing when designing the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. The full-size pickup features technologies such as a dedicated Tow/Haul drive mode, Hill Start Assist and Trailer Sway Control, all of which work towards making towing heavy loads as easy as possible.

In the video below, life-long farmer Dewayne Kleman and General Motors’ trailering engineer Robert Krouse talk about the advantages the added technologies on the new Silverado present when towing. Kleman owns more than 20 Chevrolet trucks and he depends on all of them to haul various heavy objects and trailers to and from his farm, so you can bet he appreciates things like Hill Start Assist almost more than anyone else. 1. In other news, GM owes every single American citizen roughly $3,000 that will never be paid back. Instead, they jacked the prices for their (still mediocre at best) products UP. And their nincompoop managers still make millions. The question in proper English: How sense that makes now?
