The automaker reopened The House of GM in Seoul, transforming it into an open space for customers to experience both major innovations and the extensive heritage behind the Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC brands in one place. The company’s first integrated brand space in the South Korean capital features a new concept, a refreshed façade and a more efficient marketing approach.

“Through this renewal, The House of GM has been reborn as a space where customers can more naturally experience GM’s brand and products and communicate with each other,” said Chief Marketing Officer of GM Korea, Myongok Yoon. “We hope that this renewal will encourage more customers to visit The House of GM and experience GM’s differentiated heritage and lifestyle, which is introducing various brands and products to Korea,” she added.

First opened on May 5th, 2023, The House of GM in Seoul is a modern two-story facility located in a prime area of the city’s exclusive Gangnam-gu district, designed to establish a direct communication channel with customers and renew the image of GM brands in South Korea. The space is now open to the general public for vehicle display and test drives, artistic collaborations, and community events.

The House of GM Seoul’s first floor has been transformed from a simple vehicle display space to a one-stop consulting area where customers can experience and manage their purchase in a relaxed environment. The second floor of the facility is designed as a more private space that will now be used as a venue for community events and viewing of future vehicles.

The renovated The House of GM in Seoul is now open to the public, showcasing a customized Chevy Trax and the new 2024 Chevy Colorado that just launched in South Korea. In addition, GM plans to strengthen its communication channel with customers by operating seasonal themed test drive programs at the upgraded experience center, while also hosting community gatherings such as RC car making and career talks with engineers.

  1. Good thing GM makes some vehicles there because, like China, South Koreans rarely buy any non-locally-branded vehicles.

  2. Could they really be serious about that place? That is not design. Who are they aiming for? Definitely not someone interested in cars. No wonder no one buys non Korean gm cars.. they must be a laughing stock.. so sad…
