A new viral video guest stars GM CEO Mary Barra and several other General Motors executives in a parody of “The Office” television show. The video series is called “The Dealership”, and was created by the folks at Mohawk Chevrolet in upstate New York to promote the dealer through a series of hilarious short episodes. The latest episode takes the team to Detroit for a questionable rebranding pitch for the Chevy Silverado.
Clocking in at a little under six minutes, the video starts with protagonist Grace Kerber giving a rundown on the Mohawk Chevrolet team headed to the Renaissance Center for the pitch. The video takes after “The Office” in a faux documentary style, providing the viewer with some funny little scenes as the team flies into Motown.
As Kerber waits to give her pitch, we see her spinning in Mary Barra’s office chair before the GM CEO walks up and introduce herself to a clueless Kerber. In the following scene, we see the pitch meeting, where Chevy CMO Steve Majoros and global brand chief Scott Bell watch as Kerber proposes cutting the name of the Chevy Silverado down to just “Rado.”
“Why do we not need silver?” Kerber asks the folks at the meeting. “Because silver does not equal gold, and the Silverado is gold.”
In a mock-up of the new name, we see “Rado” in Comic Sans font on the pickup’s fender, a choice that Kerber describes as “vey nostalgic.”
Later, Majoros suggests shortening other Chevy nameplates, such as Trax down to Ax, or Equinox down to Nox.
The whole video is quite entertaining, and definitely worth a watch. The latest episode, the eleventh in the series, has already gathered 453,000 views on TikTok in just the first day of it going live.

I love this series!
Would like to pay Grace and Mohawk a visit. But it’s four hours away.
Doesn’t a $24 million CEO have better things to do than play games like this?
Well, obviously to anyone that is concerned about the future of GM, she is not running the company so she has plenty of F/O time on her hands.
,,, now understand whyGM cars recently are s ugly :
1, children playing as adults inviting jokes which are no fun, are USA people really so childish ?!
2. guys which do not care own appearance, for example cut off beard
3. supposed mary barra office would be an impressive one, but is equal of a worker
Could be worse … a parody of Modern Family putting you to sleep, kvetching about inclusion …..
In one of the Transformer movies, there is a guest appearnce of a real GM Design Executive. I remember that his first nane was Ed. And Elon Musk appeared in an Ironman movie.
