General Motors has just officially launched the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer in South Korea, the country of origin of Chevrolet’s subcompact crossover.
The automaker launched the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer in South Korea’s domestic market on May 22nd, introducing the second model year of the refreshed global crossover in the Asian country. The 2025 Trailblazer receives some equipment tweaks with better connectivity features and a new paint color to improve its appeal level among South Korean customers.
“The Chevrolet Trailblazer is a core model for GM’s Korean operations and a global model that is achieving great success in overseas markets,” said Chief Marketing Officer of GM Korea, Myongok Yoon. “By changing the model year and applying new options, we have improved our marketability. The domestic launch of the 2025 New Trailblazer will serve as a positive momentum for domestic sales,” she added.
The main novelty of the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer in South Korea is that it introduces OnStar connectivity services for the first time in the country, where GM’s telematics platform was launched locally only last year, and until now was reserved for high-end premium vehicles. As such, the 2025 Trailblazer becomes the first domestically produced Chevrolet to be offered with OnStar in the South Korean market.
Additionally, the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer also received the new Marina Blue Metallic paint color that replaces the Celestic Blue (Fountain Blue in North America) color from the previous model year. GM Korea affirms that this new shade, which debuted in the country’s domestic market with the all-new Chevy Trax, is receiving good consumer response and is highly popular among the young public, the utility vehicle’s target audience.
The 2025 Chevy Trailblazer is now available for sale throughout the brand’s official dealer network in South Korea, where it is marketed as a “premium compact SUV” available with an all-wheel drivetrain, a unique feature in its category. In fact, also new for the 2025 Trailblazer is the elimination of the entry-level LT trim level, as the crossover is now only offered in the more-equipped Premier, RS and Activ trims. Here is pricing:
- 2025 Trailblazer Premier: 27,990,000 won (about $20,510 USD at the current exchange rate)
- 2025 Trailblazer RS: 30,990,000 won (about $22,710 USD)
- 2025 Trailblazer Activ: 30,990,000 won (about $22,710 USD)
