With a robust history established over the course of no less than 12 generations, the Suburban nameplate is a stalwart of the American automotive industry, serving both families and businesses alike thanks to its versatility and impressive cargo capacity. These days, however, the Suburban is expanding on its repertoire as a platform for customizers, and that includes classic examples like the GMC Suburban featured in this video.
Clocking in at one minute, 30 seconds, the video was published by Vossen Wheels, and includes shots of the SUV rolling and parked, with the forests of Oregon serving as the backdrop.

Under the arches, this classic GMC Suburban cruises on a set of three-piece Vossen Forged ERA-3 wheels, featuring a Satin Bronze finish and Polished Gloss Clear outer barrels. The wheel design was inspired by old-school multi-piece motorsport wheels, and adds a dash of modernity to the GMC Suburban without overdoing it.
The truck body continues the old-school cool with a little patina on the body panels, while the paint is a faded baby blue matched with a white roof. The chrome trim bits were nicely polished, while a series of painted shop emblems and pin striping enhance the look even further. There’s even a side exhaust treatment added just ahead of the rear wheels.

Taking responsibility for the build is 503 Motoring, which saw fit to install new air suspension from Air Lift Performance. Fully aired out and slammed to the pavement, this rig looks the part a fully custom cruiser, and is sure to catch the eye of anyone nearby when it hits the street.
The combination of new and old on this GMC Suburban is a real treat, and the truck looks surprisingly at home rolling around the forests of Oregon, the patina and blocky body lines working well against the green trees and orange leaves. Check out the full video right here:

Sounds like you don’t know this hobby/industry. These types of trucks/SUVs are the biggie in a $55 Billion dollar fun industry.
