The sweepstakes to win this 1967 Oldsmobile 442 muscle car is part of a fundraising effort to support New Beginning Children’s Home, a non-profit organization on a mission to provide foster children with long-term residential care, creating a safe, family atmosphere in which kids can heal, grow, and be loved.

The grand prize in this sweepstakes is this 1967 Oldsmobile 442 W30, with 32,000 original miles on the clock. According to the sweepstakes organizers, an Oldsmobile test engineer name Dick Haas special ordered this Oldsmobile 442 W30 for high-performance testing at the GM Milford Proving Ground, adding just about every go-fast component possible in the process. This car was also used at major NHRA events, and is one two sequential test-track cars built for NHRA racing in the summer of 1967.

Highlights include the UHV transistorized ignition system, Rocket Rally Pac, 4-4-2 Turbo Hydramatic, Anti-Spin rear axle, and a Forced-Air induction system. This machine also recently received a full frame-off restoration supervised by the original owner, and includes a numbers-matching, factory-issued, blueprinted 350-horsepower V8 engine that was rebuilt to the factory specs. The interior is totally original as well.

Oldsmobile produced 520 examples of the 442 W30 in 1967, 129 of which were sport coupe models, making this particular example particularly rare.

The sweepstakes will close on September 26th, 2023, with the drawing set to take place on or about October 12th, 2023. The winner will also receive $15,000 to cover taxes.

      1. That 442 would only see the tail lights of a 67 L-78 SS396 Chevelle.

  5. i am sorry nice that it is, it pales. My cousin Dickie (Richard) Andrejczak, my late sister Diane’s godfather, bought ne4w in 67 asd he came out of fort campbell used his exit money bought a new triple black 442 4 speed floor shift convertible – if there are records – you will find what i say is true. He had the BIG motor, five spoke rims, raised letter tires, floor four speed it was bad ass me at 66 it still is a bucket listr car for me. Dickie is long dead as aree my parents my wife kids but i will never forget dickie’s 442. in the late 80s i worked for motorola and in itasca il on 1025 hilltop drive was our international distribution center )IDC) one of my peers a small parts packer, ray Acevedo, bought a used metallic pewter 44 coupe which still makes this high sitting column shift car that has the wrong stance look silly. This car has the wrong tires, the poverty caps are a mopar thing, never a 4442 those tires were never original -plain blackwalls ya right.
