Executing a perfect donut isn’t as simple as smashing the throttle and cranking the wheel. There’s actually a delicate balance to managing oversteer and understeer, and unfortunately, many of the folks that show up at sideshows don’t have the skills needed for such activities. That’s certainly the case for the driver behind the wheel of the Chevy Camaro in the following video.
For those readers who may be unaware, a sideshow (also known as a street takeover) is a type of (usually illegal) automotive exhibition where cars burn rubber and perform donuts in front of a crowd. Sometimes, these exhibitions can take place in public at an intersection. Passengers are frequently seen hanging out the window, and stunts are encouraged. As is typically the case with illegal car stuff, sideshows can be very dangerous, as well.
That certainly turned out to be the case for the folks attending the sideshow featured in this video. The video opens up with a Chevy Camaro trying to get sideways in front of a crowd as a Ford Mustang does the same. The location appears to be a vacant back lot, so at least the shenanigans aren’t at some intersection on a busy city street.
As the video progresses, we see a passenger hanging out of the Chevy Camaro window. The Camaro driver appears to be struggling between understeer and oversteer before they finally get the tail to kick out. However, as the Chevy travels sideways, we see the tail suddenly rotate right into a crowd of people.
The people try to jump out of the way, but it’s too late for most of them as the rear of the Chevy Camaro collides with several onlookers, knocking them into the dirt. It’s likely the collision resulted in a few injuries.
As the Chevy Camaro tries to speed away, it collides with the rear end of the Ford Mustang, which just so happened to come to a rest in front of the scene of the collision.

Oh what fun! Can’t think a better way to spend the afternoon. (sarcasm free of charge)
Where do these idiots come from?
other idiots, other criminals, well intended hearted adults when there is such a thing in their life, who do not, or cannot or won’t administer proper consequences when found out.
The human race has regressed by leaps and bounds in the 21st century: Jumping up and down, acting like wild animals while a 4,000lb. vehicle careens towards you and runs you over.
It sounds like loads of fun.
How’s the enforcement of any “Laws” that may be relavent working on this if/when it’s “Illegal”? To the “Rescue” will be polititians with new “Laws” to further take away the Rights of Law Abiding people who will never do this. While those that do this (if/when illegal or just plain Stupid when it isn’t) will continue to be criminal and stupid.
These people are idiots. The drivers, passengers and stupid spectators.
There’s another dynamic to this behavior. It’s theft, there’s a lot of victims after their wheels are stolen off vehicle’s to replace the tires these idiots burn up.
Blame NASCAR and all TV auto shows that do burn outs and donuts for entertainment. It’s all dumb. This video does show someone or a few getting mowed down, two car’s damaged where these kids will not be able to afford, plus losing auto insurance when the law suits come in. The old saying, “you can’t fix stupid”.
I aggree with some of your comment. However, what’s your “Solution”? Ban NASCAR? Ban TV Auto Shows? Ban Internet? Ban violent & non-violent video games? Ban violent or non-violent Sports? Ban “Social Media”? Ban “News Shows”? No, “Banning” or “New Laws” isn’t the “solution”. Parents, Family, Adults, Mentors, Cultural Values, etc, etc are Who and What are Responsible for the Children they’ve brought into this life. Accountability is Responsible by those people. It won’t change unless those people choose to r be responsible and hold their own kids accountable. Start there First.
I think we have seen the results of your approach for the last 40 yrs.
Glen, you are about as dumb as it gets. Must be a libtard. GTO Guy is right on.
My point was relying on the parents is obviously no solution , as they are as bad as the kids. Maybe the grandparents are who GTO is talking about – just maybe but my money is on the great-grandparents.
GeorgeS – I blame the parents. I grew up watching The Fall Guy, The A Team and The Dukes of Hazzard and I never attempted to try to jump my car or truck.
I bet most if not all don’t even watch motorsports but keep going with the idiotic takes.
The problem is the dumbing down of society.
I grew up with NASCAR, Dukes of Hazzard and Smokey and the Bandit. We all learned how to do a bootleg turn and a Rockford reverse spin. But we did this stuff away from crowds and raced away from the public.
We were taught respect and common sense. We also were made to pay for the damage we did to our cars and property. When you have to pay for your own tires you think much different.
Today these kids have parents that have no respect that often are drunk or stoned at night. They give the kids what they want just to get them out of the house. Then if they get arrested they claim you are picking on their kids.
I blame air bags, seat belts and helmet laws. We are saving the people we offed in the old days. These people are not living and reproducing drawing down society.
There is no right or wrong taught anymore and this is why we are seeing so many issues. Morals are out the door.
You want to fix this. Make the kids pay a price and lock them up. Make the parents fully responsible and pay dearly for the damages and the penalties.
You hit someone in the wallet hard enough they will pay attention or you break em.
Are you really blaming NASCAR and Auto TV shows? Quiet down Boomer.
There were imbeciles when I started driving in the 60s. Now there’s just more of them! I laugh everytime I see them kill each other. Nature’s way to weed out the dumbest of them! LOL 🤣🤣🤣
Oh well, everyone that attends these things are morons to begin with
And they live among us and breed.
I blame the parents of the parents of the parents all the way back to when the second automobile was assembled by a bunch of day laborers.
Oh, and media for the decades of selling morons a lifestyle that’s not only illegal, and dangerous, but also messes up the environment for no real reason.
Yell upstairs and tell your Mommy to make you a Pepperoni Hot Pocket, then take a long nap.
Your comments are both unintelligent and bush-league. There is not a single racist comment posted and if you bothered to watch the video, there are people of all sizes, shapes and colors acting like fools.
Bunch of Maroons.
Why are you calling them a shade of red?
In the Bugs-Bunny cartoons, instead of saying “Moron”….I think they had to have Bugs say “Maroon” instead. I remember this distinctly!
Guess you never watched Bugs Bunny cartoons. The combined IQ of this bunch is single digits.
Just can’t fix stupid.
