The two performance variants of the Cadillac CT5 – consisting of the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing – have been lauded by the automotive press as precision-tuned track weapons, especially in the case of the Blackwing. Now, the upcoming 2024 Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing performance machines will feature several new paint colors.
The 2024 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing will be available in one of nine paint colors, including these four new hues (relevant color code in parenthesis):
It’s worth noting that all these colors are available as an extra-charge paint option.
These four new paint colors are set to replace the following 2023 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing paint options:
The following paint colors are carried over from the 2023 model year:
An interesting piece worth noting is that Cyber Yellow Metallic features the same color code as Chevy‘s Nitro Yellow Metallic and GMC‘s Solar Flare Metallic, available on models such as the Chevy Colorado, Chevy Blazer and GMC Canyon. In addition, Velocity Red features the same color code as Chevy’s Red Hot and GMC’s Cardinal Red, available on the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra, while Coastal Blue Metallic features the same color code as Chevy’s Riptide Blue Metallic, available on the upcoming Chevy Blazer EV and Chevy Equinox EV.
As far as the 2023 models go, the current CT5-V is powered by the turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine, rated at 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, while the CT5-V Blackwing is powered by the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine is rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque.
Under the skin, the Cadillac CT5 rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform. Meanwhile, production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan for all markets except for China, where the CT5 is manufactured at the GM Cadillac Jinqiao plant in Shanghai. Production of the 2024 model-year CT5 in Michigan is scheduled to start in July 2023.

So when will GM show us the dang thing???
Should have kept Rift and ditched Midnight Steel. MS looks great on configurator. Very blah in person.
I ordered a CT5-V Blacking 2024,July 23, supercruze still on constraint, very disappointing, I'm in Vegas but ordered in Michigan to avoid a minimum 10k over MSRP mark up ,
It's frustrating as we have no way to to request a change to the order if available ,over 100k long wait times only to be let down .can only get upgraded interior with sport racing seats only black available even with an 8k upgrade
Hope you eventually get your car and the strike doesn’t prevent it. Maybe start looking around dealers lots. My V non BW is to arrive next week as per dealer. I ordered 10 weeks ago. Just about everything except SC. Maybe that’s why it was fast. Good luck.
Thank you ,I currently have a CT5-V, its a great car we love it I'm sure you will love yours ,the Cadillac rim and tire protection package paid for itself ,we have the black 20 inch rims .I've actually ordered 2 years ago but my orders would get sold for a higher price ,over MSRP
Other reported refresh changes for 2024 are not in the Order Guide for CT4 CT5.
It really shocked me. I guess GM cancelled the 2024 refresh. It’s disappointing.
So they borrowed a truck color.
No interior updates? Was hoping to see they used the XT4 33" screen.
Can we get a nice dark green please?
Any word on the interior update? Always looking forward to a new interior design, just like Lyric.
I ordered my BW as a ‘22 (which they said would be the last year 🤞). One year out and now looking at a ‘24. I’m 70 and hope I live long enough to see it arrive!
I found that this post is really a great blog. It contains a lot of useful information.
