As for the powertrain, the 2024 GMC Sierra HD equips the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine as standard, with output now directed through the Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission, rather than the GM six-speed automatic equipped by gasoline-powered models prior to the refresh. Meanwhile, the optional 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine is now uprated at 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque.
Under the skin, the GMC Sierra HD rides on a more-capable variant of the GM T1 platform. Production will kick off at the GM Flint plant in Michigan next month.

So they are not doing a Dually Denali 4WD or a Dually Ultimate 4WD? Only in 2WD?
I noticed that. I think there should be a Denali dually with 4×4.
It is crazy that the Denali Ultimate 2wd dually is over $100K! Really!?!?
Maybe they just omitted it form the forum. Oh I know! And I am from Canada, Add $30,000 to any of those prices just about to buy them up here even now!
2024 GMC 3500hd Denali Ultimate crew cab drw 2wd starting priced of 100k. Are you out of your f ing mind? I have a 2020 GMC 3500hd Denali crew cab drw and after owning it for 3 yrs it wasn’t work the 75k I paid for it. I own a garage and have worked in the automotive industry for the past 26 yrs. The big 3 American car manufactorers are not producing quality inline with 100k + prices.
Just looked at my window sticker and my 2022 2500 AT4 was $60,100 base price. Now I see the 2024 AT4 is going up another $3500 and new base price is $70,995. That’s $10,895 increase in just two model years, which translates to about 15% price increase. Am I reading that correctly?
Sadly, I’ve owned my 2022 truck for over a year and not a single one of the three missing chip retrofits has been completed, with no sensible answer from anyone within the GM organization.
They need to start discounting these prices heavily, if they really plan to sell them.
2500 HD SLT Crew Cab Standard Bed 4WD $65,195
to me this one to get I don’t need atv4 or ultimate package .
I’ve had my 2022 Sierra 1500SLT since May 31, 2022, and not had any missing chips put in it that was said to be installed sometime in the fourth quarter of 2022. i cannot find out anything from dealer other than they (gm.) will send me a letter then dealer will order chips and install, what a deal, wait some more for 3chip they are putting them in 2023 vehicles i would think they would put them in 2022 models first some one in customer better get on the ball. that my 2 cents worth ………
3500 HD Denali ultimate, crew cab, standard box, SRW 4WD $97k. IF it is the diesel, I am pleasantly surprised it is under $100k. Anybody know if this is diesel or gas pricing that is listed? Note: if you buy at an unscrupulous dealer like some of those here in the Twin Cities, they will bump $10k and claim a chip shortage or supply issue, but GMC is toting a 70 day supply at the moment. The ones that got burned were those who bought in mid-2021 to early 2022 and paid dealers these upcharges (i.e. immediate negative equity on your vehicle) and then had to accept all the retrofits they haven’t gotten yet because they will go in the newest trucks first. I reckon some of you paid over $100k for your 2022 or 2023 of the same model that I mentioned above that is $97k for the 2024 model year at a dealer that doesn’t bump the price for their “valued customers”. In this light, the 2024 seems a bargain if you buy right….just saying. I am sure I will get some pushback on this but a sucker and his money do soon part.
If you can afford it, probably for ranch owners and OTR truckers
My dealer said they are making a 2024 3500 Denali Ultimate long bed dually 4×4 and expect it to be over $105,000-$110,000. Surprisingly that makes it $30,000-$35,000 more than a High Country equivalent…seriously GM!
The Denali and the High Country are equivalent and they are both around the $78 mark. You have to remember thought that there are still several options you can add to that and will push that number up near mid to upper $90’s. The Denali Ultimate already has those options and it also has a couple of more options than the Denali and High Country offer (better leather, better wood trim, better stereo and headliner just to name a few). I’m not saying it’s worth it….just saying you need to compare apples to apples.
How are you going to spend six figures on a car and then have to go into a honky $hit-show dealership to have it serviced? There is no way that I would pay that much for a truck and then have to go into Randy Marion for an oil change.
I just found out that the only colors available at the start are the black, white and gray colors and shades there of. Looks like a month or so for the others. But they are taking orders.
I’m tired of Manufactures saying White is always the number one seller. Well NO S…. because they ONLY offer White or black in the beginning of most builds, AND OR MOST fleet sales pick white!
