General Motors has released a new 60-second advertisement for the 2021 Chevy Tahoe in the Middle East that proclaims it to be the “Official SUV of Action.”
What does Chevy mean by calling the Tahoe the “Official SUV of Action,” one may ask? Well, one watch through this ad should answer that question. The short spot shows a convoy of 2021 Chevy Tahoe Z71 models ripping through the desert and taking on massive sand dunes somewhere in the Middle East. As the off-road-oriented SUVs traverse the massive dunes, they are joined by other off-roaders in full-size GM SUVs and even some dirt bikers.
While these action-packed images flash on screen, the narrator for the ad drops the following voiceover:
“Out here we have other names: The Beast, The Brave, The Legend, The Maestro,” the narrator says, referencing nicknames local Middle Eastern Chevy enthusiasts have for the Tahoe. “We know every grain, every dip, every seemingly impossible dune. We stop at nothing. It’s what we do. It’s who we are. Find who you truly are in the official SUV of action. The all-new Chevrolet Tahoe.”
The 2021 Chevy Tahoe launched in the Middle East earlier this month. The new full-size SUV is available in four trims in the country, LT, LS, Z71 and Premier, with prices starting from AED 184,900, which is equal to about $50,340 USD at the time of publication. The Z71 model was introduced as a standalone trim for the first-time ever on the new SUV and could be of particular interest to Middle Eastern buyers thanks to its impressive off-road capability.
“Designed to tackle the toughest dunes and fiercest adventures, the Tahoe Z71 stands out with the best-in-class approach angle of up to 34.9 degrees,” Chevy Middle East said following the model’s launch in early November 2020.
